Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer
Last updated October 24, 2026
Please read this carefully. Trading is risky, and nothing we provide is a promise of any result.
Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Chart Rich Academy teaches education — it does not manage money, give personalized advice, or guarantee results.
Education, not advice
Chart Rich Academy provides general educational content about reading NQ and MNQ futures charts. We do not provide personalized investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and we don't know your finances, goals or risk tolerance. Nothing we say or publish is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Consider speaking with a qualified, licensed professional before making financial decisions.
The risks of futures trading
- You can lose money — including more than you put in. Futures are leveraged, so a small move in price can mean a large gain or loss relative to your account.
- Fast markets. NQ and MNQ can move quickly, gap, and become volatile around news and economic releases. Orders may fill at worse prices than expected (slippage) or not fill at all.
- Micros are smaller, not safe. MNQ lets you risk less per point, but it can still lose money quickly.
- Many traders lose. Most people who trade futures do not make consistent profits, especially early on.
- Your psychology matters. Fear, greed and overtrading cause losses regardless of how good a method is.
No guarantees; no income claims
We make no promise or representation that you will profit, avoid losses, or earn any particular income. Any results depend on your own decisions, discipline, capital, experience and market conditions, and they differ for everyone. Examples we show — in lessons, Signals, The Open or live sessions — are for teaching and are not typical or expected results.
Past and hypothetical performance
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Charts, examples and back-tested or simulated results are shown to teach a method and are not a record of actual trading by you or anyone else.
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN INHERENT LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
Signals, The Open, and the CR Indicator
- Signals are teaching examples of one method, posted automatically from an indicator. They are not personalized trade recommendations and they are not instructions to trade.
- They can be late, missed or wrong. They depend on charting software, alerts and internet connections that can fail or lag. By the time you see one, the price may have moved.
- The Open and market data. Briefings use delayed data from third-party sources and may be generated with AI. Levels and "news results" are for study, not for placing orders.
- The CR Indicator is a charting tool. It does not predict the future and does not remove risk.
AI-generated content
Coach and parts of The Open are generated with artificial intelligence. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Verify anything important, and don't treat any AI output as advice.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions, the orders you place, the broker and platform you use, your taxes, and your results. Practice on a simulator first, size your trades so one loss can't hurt you badly, and never trade money you need for bills or essentials.
